On April 26, our track team went to Salem to participate in a large meet of small schools. Our students all participated quite well. Noah Drone won a 3rd place in 100-yard dash. Congratulations, Noah!

On Tuesday, April 29, our track team had a regional meet at our local park. Following are the students and what events they participated in:

Gaston Sailliez: high jump 2nd place He will go to state Saturday, May 10th.
100 meter

Kirsten Cairel: 100 meter, 200 meter, and 400 meter

Madison Wallace: long jump (12 ft. 6 in.); 100 meter; 1 mile, 5th place; 800 meter –6th place

Jacob Wiegand: 800 meter and 1600 meter

Sydney McPhail: 100 meter, 2nd place; 800 meter, 2nd place She will go to state in 800 meter

Jessica Wiegand: 400 meter and 200 meter

Tyler Shaw: long jump and 100 meter

Zach Beaumont was on the track team but was unable to participate because of a broken arm.

Thanks to Dave Wallace for coaching our students this year.

I hope to see all of you parents at the Athletic Banquet on Friday evening at 6:30 p.m.


Policies
All students participating in sports program must have a current physical exam prior to attending any practice and have a copy of the report on file in the school office. A permission form must be on file with the principal for each student participating in the athletic program that must be signed by a parent or guardian. An emergency form for each student should also be on file.  (Revised Diocesan Regulation 6145.2A, May 20, 1988)
